Maintenance
Once you have hair extensions, proper maintenance (varies per method) is necessary to keep them safe and healthy. Brushing your extensions regularly/gently with a boar bristle brush, avoiding too much heat, using sulfate-free shampoo & conditioner are a few ways you can extend the life of your extensions. It is also essential to not leave them in for too long, this could lead to mild discomfort, madding and or hair loss.
Allergies
It’s rare but can happen to be allergic to the adhesive or tapes used to attach certain hair extensions. It’s always a good idea to let you stylist know if you have sensitive skin or allergies to make sure you receive the best application method around your needs.
Remember that your hair is an investment! You wear it everyday and should always want to protect it. Simply by selecting a qualified professional like myself, to do proper install & maintenance.
